Professor Stephen Gomez, Project Director
Professor Gomez is Head of Work-Based and Placement Learning at the University of Plymouth. He was previously Project Director of FDTL4 Profile project; JISC Innovation Fund co-applicant for ASSET project; JISC BR project lead for ASSET; and HERDA SW Project Director CPD video assets. He will act as lead for the Technology Community of Practice.

Pete Watton, Project Manager
Until December 2010 Pete Watton is the University Placement Co-ordinator, and member of the Centre for Excellence in Professional Placement Learning (CEPPL) development team, leading on the University’s internal WBL development funded activity and development of the CEPPL placement gateway. He was previously Experiential Learning CETL lead for Employability and Work Based Learning, lead for the University’s Skills Plus employability strategy, Project Director of the University’s Active in Communities Project and Co-ordinator of the HEFCE funded JEWELS work experience projects. He will be developing open content in support of work-based learning.

Associate Professor Mel Joyner, Convenor for the Practitioner Community of Practice and Academic Lead
Associate Professor Mel Joyner is the convenor for the practitioner Community of Practice and academic lead for the development of the Research Methods OERs. Mel is Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning), in the Faculty of Health has vast experience with tenders to the NHS for CPD and is Chair of the Academic Committee on Quality Assurance.

Dr Melanie Parker Academic Lead
Dr Melanie Parker is academic lead for the development of the Work-Based Learning OERs. Mel is CPD Coordinator at the University and was Deputy Director of CEPPL. She will be developing open content in support of professional development.

Dr Hilary Duckett, Academic Lead
Dr Hilary Duckett is academic lead for the development of the Leadership and Management OERs. Hilary is Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) in Plymouth Business School and has particular expertise in enterprise leadership. She will be developing open content in support of leadership and management.

Holger Andersson, Learning Technologist
Holger Andersson is a Learning Technologist supporting the academic developers in production and publication of OERs. Holger has been a Learning Technologist with the Centre of Excellence in Professional Practice Learning and has extensive knowledge of e-learning systems.

Peter D. Watton, Learning Technologist
Peter D. Watton is a Learning Technologist supporting the academic developers in production and publication of OERs. Pete is new to the sector but with substantial IT experience.

Dr Neil Witt is Project Advisor in Technology & IPR
Neil Witt is Associate Professor, Head of Technology Enhanced Learning at the University of Plymouth. His role is to lead the further development and enhancement of Technology Enhanced Learning and blended learning across the university together with related pedagogic research, in support of the university’s teaching, learning and enterprise agendas. He has lead a range of e-learning related projects over the last 15 years, specialising in IPR, accessibility, the use of Web2.0 and open access repositories. He is currently the Project Director for the JISC funded Pineapple APEL project and Building Capacity project.

Mike Sanders, project Advisor in OER project management
Mike Sanders is the project Advisor in OER project management. Mike is C&IT Manager at the, GEES Subject centre and managed the JISC phase 1 OER project C-change project and has extensive experience running a JISC OER project.
